I work with adults navigating:
Boundaries & Self-Care
Self-esteem, shame, and inner criticism
-
For over two decades, I struggled with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, and periods of suicidality. Like many people, I believed there was simply something wrong with me. It wasn't until I began exploring somatic approaches and psychedelic healing that I realized I wasn't broken at all. I was engaging in survival strategies that had developed in response to my environment.
That realization transformed the way I understood myself and ultimately led me to become a therapist. Today, I bring both professional training and lived experience into my work, helping others move from shame and self-criticism toward greater self-understanding, compassion, and choice.
-
My work is client-centred, trauma-informed, systemic, and anti-oppressive. I believe that our mental health is shaped not only by our internal experiences but also by our relationships, environment, biology, and the broader systems we live within.
Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic approaches, and psychedelic-assisted therapy, I work collaboratively with clients at a pace that feels safe and respectful. Rather than forcing change, we build trust with your inner system and approach every thought, emotion, and behaviour with curiosity about the role it has played in your life.
-
I believe that our whole self, our thoughts, behaviours, feelings, and bodily sensations, makes sense and is working adaptively to help us. Our system is wise, not broken.
Even the patterns that create suffering today often began as intelligent attempts to protect us. When we understand them instead of fighting them, we create the possibility for healing that is rooted in self-compassion rather than shame.
-
You don't have to navigate this alone or have everything figured out before reaching out. Healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about developing enough curiosity and compassion to understand yourself more deeply and creating the conditions for meaningful change to unfold.
If that resonates with you, I'd be honoured to walk alongside
Finding the right therapist matters.
Healing begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself. If my approach resonates with you, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
