REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR | GRIEF | SPIRITUAL EXPLORATION | PSYCHEDELIC PREPARATION & INTEGRATION
Navin Sahjpaul
I honour the courage it takes to commit to healing, growth, and personal development. I believe that the more we tend to our wounds, the greater our capacity becomes to experience joy, gratitude, and love.
I work with adults navigating:
Grief, loss, and bereavement
Intergenerational and ancestral trauma
Spiritual exploration and existential questions
Inner child healing and self-discovery
-
My path into this work has been shaped by my own experiences of growth, loss, and transformation, as well as years of supporting others through some of life's most challenging moments. I've come to believe that healing isn't about erasing our pain, but about developing a different relationship with it.
Whether you're navigating grief, trauma, addiction, or a profound life transition, I aim to offer a space where every part of your experience can be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves and discover new possibilities for healing and meaning.
-
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that every person's story deserves to be understood within the context of their unique life experiences.
Drawing from person-centred therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, psychedelic preparation and integration, and contemplative practices, I work with you to explore not only what is causing suffering, but also the strengths and wisdom that already exist within you.
Rather than offering quick solutions, I believe meaningful change emerges through genuine relationship, honest reflection, and creating enough safety for new ways of relating to yourself and the world to unfold.
-
I believe that our deepest ruptures can become our greatest teachers, and that the more we tend to our pain, the more we expand our capacity for joy, gratitude, and love.
Many of the patterns we struggle with today developed for reasons that once made sense. They may have protected us, helped us survive, or allowed us to adapt to circumstances that felt overwhelming. Healing isn't about rejecting those parts of ourselves, but about understanding them with compassion and discovering whether they still serve us today.
This perspective invites us to move away from self-judgment and toward greater self-awareness, acceptance, and possibility.

Beginning therapy takes courage. It means allowing yourself to slow down, ask difficult questions, and become curious about the experiences that have shaped who you are.
My hope is that our work together provides a space where you feel genuinely seen and supported as you reconnect with your own resilience, values, and capacity for growth. While the path may not always be easy, you don't have to walk it alone.
Finding meaning through life's challenges.
Whether you're moving through grief, trauma, addiction, or a profound life transition, therapy can offer a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. If my approach feels like the right fit, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey.
