Meditation & Self-Regulation Workshop

This workshop will guide you to deepening your self-awareness, self-knowledge and self-regulation. Have you ever tried to meditate but feel like you can’t turn your brain off? You’ve heard that meditation is good for you, but you don’t know where to start? This 3-part series of in person workshops will teach you the why and how of using mediation so that you do not operate at the whim of your subconscious. Learn to re-wire your way of being toward more inner contentment and insight. Group sessions are limited to 8 attendees.

After completing this 3-session workshop series you will:

  • Understand the benefits of meditation
  • Know how to use meditative techniques in your daily life to deepen your self-awareness, understand yourself more and regulate your nervous system and emotions.
  • Learn step by step meditation techniques
  • Feel comfortable using self-awareness and meditative techniques in your daily life

1st session: (2 hours)

Meditation for Self-Awareness

Learn how meditation enhances self-awareness and why self-awareness is an important tool in your personal growth, followed by a 25-min meditation session with a group discussion.

2nd session: (2 hours)

Meditation for Self-Knowledge

Now that you have begun to bring a deeper awareness into your life, we begin to go deeper into understanding the roots of our behaviours, thoughts and emotions, followed by a 25-30min meditation session with a group discussion.

3rd session: (2 hours)

Meditation for Self-Regulation

How does meditation regulate our nervous system and our emotions? Why are we dysregulated in the first place? Learn a 5 min self-regulation meditation that you can use in your daily life.
